How Has The Church Been Instrumental In Your Healing Process?

I am working on a resource to help people who have gone through hurt and suffering that encourages and equips them to not abandon the church. Often people experience hurt in the church and walk away from the church and their faith. I know how instrumental the church has been in my healing process and want to help others experience that same healing. However, I don’t want these resources to be limited to just my experience. As far as the scope of the resource, I’m not completely sure yet. At the very minimum, I want a post about it, but I would like it to include more. It depends on the feedback received.

Would you be willing to share your story and why and how you have found the church instrumental in your healing process? I am currently looking for as many viewpoints as possible and will not share any stories without your express permission.
